Media Literacy Coalition and \“Friedrich Naumann\“ Foundation for Freedom won second place in the Communication Project of the Non-Governmental Sector category at the 21st edition of the PR Prize of the Bulgarian Public Relations Association. The recognition is for the realization of the joint campaign of the two organizations “Media Literacy in Bulgaria. What have we learned from the crisis”, held in the second half of 2020. The main event of the campaign was the national conference of the same name, which took place on October 29, 2020 in Sofia.
Contenders for a \“PR Prize 2021: Communications are in our nature\“ accolade were companies, agencies, non-governmental organizations and institutions that implemented communication projects between 01.01.2020 and 30.03.2021. Among the 17 competition categories were corporate campaigns, internal communication campaigns, projects in the field of corporate social responsibility and others. The applicant projects were evaluated in two stages – presentation of materials and public defense.
After the public presentations of the approved 84 projects on June 5 and 6, the winners were determined by a jury consisting of Asen Assenov – Chairman of the Jury, Iliana Zaharieva, Alexander Milanov, Janeta Dyadovska, Prof. Ivanka Mavrodieva, Maxim Mayer, Manuela Toteva, Nikolay Boykov, Radoslav Bimbalov and Sirma Penkova. The awards were presented on June 16, 2021 at a ceremony in Event Space 2020 at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
